While it has taken me a looooooong while to jump on I have FINALLY found a few eye creams that WERK and for that reason I am on the eye cream train full steam ahead!! There are three that I am loving and each for a different reason, so I wanted to dish with you babes if you’re on the fence about snagging one for yourself.
OLE HENRIKSEN Banana Bright Eye $38 : While this cream is the most budget friendly of the bunch I don’t find that it gives me the anti-aging benefits that I am looking for in a night cream. BUT it looks incredible under makeup and brightens my tired eyes in the morning! If you are looking for a cream that will keep your concealer from looking cakey with the brightening benefits THIS is the one for you.
SKYN ICELAND Icelandic Relief Eye Cream $45 : This cream came as a shock to me not only because it’s texture is like nothing I have used before, but I truthfully didn’t expect to see results as quickly as I did. This actually plumps the skin and actually DOES what the claims say it will do! It absorbs quickly into the skin and truly revives the skin around the eyes and firms the skin while also reducing puffiness!! I cannot get enough of this cream before bed and the gal who gives me facials commented on my eyes after using it for just a few weeks – BOOM. *The one downside to this product is that it DOES have a shelf life, sooooo if you don’t think you’ll use the entire tub within three months might I suggest buying THIS (same benefits, smaller packaging) 👌🏼
SHISEIDO Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Cream $51 : This cream is the most luxe of all the options, but for good reason. You can use this intensive eye cream both under and on the eye while it combats crow’s feet, corner creases, undereye wrinkles, lid creases! This is a RICH cream and a little bit goes a very very long way. Under makeup this is a tad oily and so you need to be sure you use the slightest amount and be certain it’s fully absorbed or it will disrupt your concealer. With that said, if you have any issues with your concealer looking cakey or bumpy use this at night and everything will go on so dang smoothly in the morning!!
Owning all three is certainly not necessary so choosing one that is best for you can be a challenge, I know! Hope that this information helps you!!
