Here are my thoughts in short: this line is STUNNING! I am thrilled with the incredible range of shade options especially for you deeper skinned babes. I think that the packaging and branding are fabulous and the color options for blush and highlighter are SUPER unique. With all that said, I think that the line is more directed for a deeper skinned babe in general and besides the awesome foundation shade selection, I don’t this this collection offers much for the fair toned or the dry skinned either.
HEAR ME OUT. I had suuuuuuuper high hopes for this line, but before I forked out an arm and a leg I did a ton of research online. I watched every review I could find (which is why this review has taken so long!) and tried to find the most honest summary out there. Knowing that I want to tell you the things that I cannot live without.
MUST HAVE : FENTY BEAUTY Gloss Bomb ($18) – This stuff!! OMG, I am hooked. It gives the must stunning universal glossy shade but also contains lactic acid & Shea butter too keep those lips lookin’ fresh & plump. The wand is extra big, so two swipes and you’re covered!
FENTY BEAUTY Killawatt Highlighter in “Trophy Wife” ($34) Although I think this color is better suited for deeper skin tones, I just couldn’t go without it. If you are a collector of makeup or want something super unique in your kit, then THIS.IS.IT. If you’ve got deeper skin, then you are the luckiest of all, this looks just stunning on the cheekbones! I looooooove how it looks on the skin & while it is super super super shimmery, setting your face with a mist will ensure that it doesn’t end up all over the face.
FENTY BEAUTY Killawat Highlighter in “Lightening Dust/Fire Crystal” ($34) This babe is better suited for you fair babes and the reason I cannot live without this product is that it has TWO in one!! One shade is bling bling and the other shade is more an everyday subtle glow shade. Perfect for travel or the girl who can’t make up her mind everyday: options are queen!!
FENTY BEAUTY Match Stix Matte Skinstick in “Amber” ($25) It is difficult to find this perfect ashy tone in any range and that was why I was most impressed with this line – something for everyone!! I love this stick because it applies as a cream, but blends beautifully even with just your fingertips. This shade will appear on the skin more like a shadow, so you’ll get dimension to the face without looking bronzed!
FENTY BEAUTY Match Stix Shimmer Skinstix in “Chili Mango” ($25) If you are into cream blushers than you will LOVE the color range and pigment of these! I applied with a brush and tapped onto the cheeks for a spring flush that I cannot get enough of. Now I just need every.single.color. Next on my wishlist is “Unicorn”!!
FENTY BEAUTY Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in “Saw-C” ($18) I was super, super hesitant about this color. I have never seen anything like it in the makeup world and I just knew that I could not live without this color in my life. As a matte lipstick is doesn’t wear as well as I had hoped, BUT layered over a lip balm it looks stunning on the lips and is fades beautifully and gradually. By the end of the day (even after eating) there was still a subtle flush on my lips that made a unique statement and still got compliments!!
What am I missing from the line?? I feel like I must try it all!
